A private chef cooks three meals a day plus snacks, planned around your group before you arrive. Breakfast is local, lunch is easy and packs well for the boat, and dinner is the showcase: family-style most nights.

A bartender is included whether the bar is pre-stocked or your group brings its own, with no corkage. There is no fixed menu and no full menu on demand: the chef plans the week and cooks it fresh and local. Alcohol itself is not included.

A private boat, captain, and licensed guide

The private boat and a licensed captain stay with the group for the whole stay. Included days on the water cover snorkeling the reef, drop fishing, sandbar trips, swimming off the dock, kayaking, and island hopping to Caye Caulker, on the group's own schedule. The captain reads the water each day for the calmest reef and the best visibility.

• No Air Conditioning — The house was designed to catch the Caribbean breeze through open windows, with ceiling fans throughout. If A/C is non-negotiable, Casa Al Mar is not the right house.

• Fresh and local cooking — The chef plans the week ahead of arrival based on answers provided in a simple questionnaire at the time of booking.

• Neighboring family houses on the caye — St. George's Caye is a residential island. The house is private; the island is shared.

• Full-house buyout, 5-night minimum — One group at a time, and seven-night stays are common.

A 7-night high-season stay for 10 guests is roughly $33,500 before taxes, all-in, about $3,700 per person for the week with the chef, boat, transfers, housekeeping, and island days included. The nightly rate covers up to 8 guests; guests over 8 are $479 per person per night; children under 4 are free.

Is everything included for a group stay?

Yes, within the fit. The rate covers a private chef and all meals, a private boat with captain and licensed guide, airport transfers, daily housekeeping, Wi-Fi, a bartender with no corkage, island activities and taxes will be included in your estimate. Alcohol, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing and mainland tours are not included.

How does booking and the deposit work for a group?

We hold your dates for 72 hours while the group confirms and take a 50% deposit with the balance due 30 days before arrival. Cancellation terms are shared before bookings are confirmed. Gratuity is not automatic; about 10% of the pretax stay is the guideline.

Is Casa Al Mar good for an adult friend group?

Yes. It suits milestone birthdays, reunions, and group trips for 8 to 14 adults who want one house, the boat to themselves, and meals handled, with enough to do and nothing to manage. It is not set up as a party house or a corporate retreat.

How do you get there?

You land at Belize International (BZE), ride about 25 minutes by van to the Belize City dock, and ride about 20 minutes by private boat to St. George's Caye. There is no domestic flight and no second airport.
