What’s Included on the Water
St. George’s Caye sits within the UNESCO-listed Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, home to the second-largest barrier reef in the world. Just a short 15-min boat ride from the island, guests can explore vibrant coral formations, tropical fish, rays, and other marine life in clear Caribbean waters. Snorkeling is suitable for all experience levels, and gear is provided for every guest as part of your stay.
Located about 11 miles northeast of St. George’s Caye, Caye Caulker is an easy and enjoyable day trip just 35 minutes away by boat. The excursion typically includes snorkeling at the Coral Gardens, swimming with gentle nurse sharks, feeding tarpon, and time to explore the island’s laid-back atmosphere. Known for its “Go Slow” lifestyle, Caye Caulker offers charming waterfront bars, local shops, and plenty of opportunities to experience a different side of Belize.
Sea kayaking offers a peaceful way to explore the waters surrounding St. George’s Caye at your own pace. Included kayaks are available throughout your stay and can be launched directly from the property. Paddle through the calm mangroves on the island’s west side or venture toward the Caribbean waters on the east side, where you can enjoy scenic views, wildlife sightings, and a closer connection to Belize’s coastal environment.
With productive fishing grounds located nearby St. George’s Caye, guests can be on the water and fishing in no time. Choose between traditional Belizean drop fishing using natural bait or trolling along the reef in search of larger species. Suitable for all ages and experience levels, fishing is one of the most popular activities at Casa Al Mar. Best of all, your chef can prepare your fresh catch for lunch or dinner however you prefer.

How pricing works.
Casa Al Mar offers whole-house pricing that varies seasonally and is based on the number of guests in your group. Rates are designed to reflect the personalized, fully staffed nature of the experience, including accommodations, private chef service, boat excursions, airport transfers, and more.
As a general point of reference, whole-house nightly rates for up to 8 guests range from approximately $3,192 USD per night during low season to $4,072 USD per night during peak season. Additional guests over 8 are approximately $479 USD per person, per night.
For example, a typical 5-night high-season stay for 8 guests is approximately $20,000 USD before taxes.
Because every stay is customized around the group, final pricing may vary depending on season, occupancy, and special requests.
